The new valves are coming in black colour.

this valve is easy to replace

remove backplate

two screws 

three hoses 

and the  2 wires from the coil and 1 wire from the ground.

when fixing the wires if you have 3 connections on the coil

one side is one connection put neutral or phase on it

on the other side if you have two connection always use criscros for 50hz or take the connection straight too the connection on the otherside for 60hz

if you only have two connections the coil is for 50 and 60hz.

we recommend after mounting the valve to put a little plastic protection on top to prevent water from leakage.

Also check the overflow hose for leaking on the backside where the wires can touch the hose
